I know it's really blurry--I'm so sorry!

I posted this because I believe this to be one of Kyoto's most famous temples. I have three travel guide books and it's featured in all of them (though I didn't know it at the time).

Well, we finally made it to kyoto! the bus ride took about 2 hours, and we were all starting to jetlag towards the end...you can bet we woke up around this time, though! Kyoto is one of my favorite cities of all time! i never knew why people appreciated it so much until I got to go myself =]

We stayed at the Iroha Ryokan in the downtown area--a block either way from some of the most populated areas in the entire city. it was SO MUCH FUN! ^^

Needless to say, we basically got to the hotel, threw our bags in, changed, and bolted out the door to do some site-seeing!
